Why I started Dentico Diary
Dentistry wasn't something I had planned to pursue at first. Over time, though, I discovered a real passion and appreciation for it, and studied BDS at Vivekananda Dental College for Women.
During my student days I often struggled to find proper, reliable study material. So I started writing my own handwritten notes to help myself study better.
When I shared those notes on Instagram and LinkedIn, many friends found them useful, but said they were hard to read because of zooming. That's what led me to build this website: one place to share my handwritten notes and dental insights.
Dentico Diary is a one-woman effort. Every note and every post is made with care, to help students like me on their dental journey.
More about me
I'm a BDS general dentist from Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. I studied at Vivekananda Dental College for Women, and like many of you, I spent my student years juggling lectures, practicals, records and exams, often wishing I had clearer material to study from.
Writing things down by hand is how I make sense of a subject. Those notes started as something just for me, and today they are the heart of Dentico Diary. You'll find them, subject by subject, in the Notes Library.
In clinics, I'm learning and practising consultations, restorations, extractions, oral prophylaxis, root canal treatment and more. On the blog and on Instagram, I share what I pick up along the way, from study tips to simple, practical lessons from the dental chair.
Dentico Diary is still growing. Next, I'm moving my notes from Scribd onto this website, so they're easier to find and read, and I'll keep regularly uploading content on Instagram and LinkedIn.
